Grants to strengthen community connection and reduce youth offending

The next round of the Queensland government’s Community Partnership Innovation Grants will soon be seeking applications for innovative approaches to support young people at-risk of, or leaving, detention, including assistance with accessing education and training. Approaches should: keep young people connected, strengthen connections or support reconnection, and heal connections to reduce the risk of re-offending. Examples of previous successful proposals are also available for viewing, along with application guidelines on the Queensland government’s website.
