The Queensland government’s Dignity First Fund aims to support Queenslanders to help the homeless. Applications are open until 17th August. Preference will be given to place-based projects that address unmet needs and respond to targeted cohorts, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, vulnerable families, young people and older people. The Mercy Foundation’s Grants to End Homelessness are open for Expressions of Interest until 9th August for seeding initiatives, services, projects, advocacy and research that will contribute to the goal of ending homelessness by supporting housing first and permanent supportive housing solutions. Priority areas are chronic homelessness and chronic homelessness affecting women.
