Free flu jabs for Queenslanders

All Queenslanders over 6 months of age, including those without Medicare cards, are eligible for a free flu vaccination as the state faces a severe outbreak of Influenza A, with cases doubling every week. Queenslanders can make an appointment at a local pharmacy or GP office to receive the influenza vaccination at no cost until 30th June. GPs may continue to charge for the appointment itself. Find out more. In addition, a COVID-19 winter booster dose is recommend for some groups of people at risk of severe illness from COVID-19, including residents of disability care facilities, severely immunocompromised individuals, and other groups.
