All Queenslanders over 6 months of age, including those without Medicare cards, are eligible for a free flu vaccination as the state faces a severe outbreak of Influenza A, with cases doubling every week. Queenslanders can make an appointment at a local pharmacy or GP office to receive the influenza vaccination at no cost until 30th June. GPs may continue to charge for the appointment itself.
