Free Child Safe Organisations workshops for management and board members

NAPCAN is now offering free Queensland-specific online workshops designed specifically to meet the needs of management and board members. Leaders play a critical role in developing and maintaining a culture that values children and young people and is committed to treating their needs and their safety as the top priority. These sessions include: a shorter format to fit into busy schedules; essential information about legislation requirements, contractual obligations, and the 10 National Principles for Child Safe Organisations developed by the Australian Human Rights Commission; practical steps you can take to support your staff to embed a child-safe culture in your organisation. The next workshops will be held: 10am-12pm Wednesday, 29th September; 10am-12pm Tuesday, 12th October and 10am-12pm Wednesday, 20th October. Find out more and register.
