Family Matters in 2019

The priorities for the Family Matters campaign in 2019 have been established in the first meeting of a new Family Matters leadership group. Richard Weston, CEO of the Healing Foundation, has been appointed as Co-Chair of the Family Matters campaign, joining Natalie Lewis, QATSICPP CEO. In 2019 campaign priorities will include deepening accountability of all campaign partners – “walking the talk” with the approach for the campaign centering around recognising the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and ending over-representation in the child protection system. More on the 2019 priorities can be read here. Find out more about partnering with the campaign to protect the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children here.
