Evidence based practice to support families experiencing adolescent violence in the home

This two-part series by WorkUP Queensland will share emerging research on adolescent violence in the home (AVITH) and foster conversation to unpack what it means for practice. The series is facilitated by Karen Struthers, and presented by Elena Campbell, Associate Director, Centre for Innovative Justice, RMIT University. The first session will introduce research, drawing on findings of two ANROWS-funded projects: the WRAP Around Families Experiencing AVITH project, and The PIPA Project: Positive Interventions for Perpetrators. The second sessions will explore lessons learned in the Victorian context, highlighting ways in which other jurisdictions might leverage the benefits of these lessons and avoid some of the challenges that the Victorian service system has encountered, with implications for the Queensland context. Find out more and register.
