SUMMARY:Parentshop - 123 Magic and Emotion Coaching
DESCRIPTION:1-2-3 Magic & Emotion Coaching is a one-day professional learning program designed to equip practitioners with practical\, evidence-based strategies for supporting children’s emotional regulation and managing challenging behaviour. \nThe program is grounded in two well-established principles from developmental and behavioural research: \n(1) that children can be supported to develop more adaptive and flexible responses to frustration and emotional distress\, and \n(2) that parents and carers can be taught clear\, structured\, and easy-to-apply strategies that are effective in everyday parenting contexts. \n1-2-3 Magic & Emotion Coaching integrates behavioural limit-setting with Emotion Coaching approaches\, drawing on research demonstrating the effectiveness of consistent\, calm behavioural guidance combined with adult support for children’s emotional understanding and self-regulation. The program has been widely implemented and evaluated internationally\, with evidence indicating improvements in child behaviour\, parent confidence\, and family functioning. \nProfessional training incorporates a range of adult learning methodologies\, including role-play\, guided group discussion\, structured worksheets\, and video-based demonstrations\, to support skill acquisition and applied practice. Courses are delivered via live webinar and face-to-face formats across Australia. \nPractitioners seeking to become Certified Parent Educators are provided with additional curriculum and presentation resources to ensure program fidelity and high-quality delivery to parent audiences. Annual certification supports ongoing quality assurance and alignment with best-practice implementation standards. Certification is renewed annually ($69 in the first year; $49 in subsequent years)\, with a mandatory refresher required every five years. Annual certification is included in the cost of the refresher training. \nFind out more and register \n9am – 4pm \n$410pp \nCertification additional after training
