SUMMARY:Parentshop - 123 Magic and Emotion Coaching
DESCRIPTION:1-2-3 Magic & Emotion Coaching is a one-day professional learning program designed to equip practitioners with practical\, evidence-based strategies for supporting children’s emotional regulation and managing challenging behaviour. \nThe program is grounded in two well-established principles from developmental and behavioural research: \n(1) that children can be supported to develop more adaptive and flexible responses to frustration and emotional distress\, and \n(2) that parents and carers can be taught clear\, structured\, and easy-to-apply strategies that are effective in everyday parenting contexts. \n1-2-3 Magic & Emotion Coaching integrates behavioural limit-setting with Emotion Coaching approaches\, drawing on research demonstrating the effectiveness of consistent\, calm behavioural guidance combined with adult support for children’s emotional understanding and self-regulation.
