SUMMARY:2027 International Childhood Trauma Conference
DESCRIPTION:In 2027\, attendees will come together for Australian Childhood Foundation’s sixth biennial conference\, focussing on the powerful theme From harm to hope: Collective pathways to trauma transformation. \nThis gathering will reflect shared commitment to transforming the lives of children and adults impacted by childhood trauma – sharing collective purpose\, courage\, and care. \nThe conference\, like those before it\, will offer a unique space for collective reflection\, sharing of best‑practice approaches\, and the exploration of emerging ideas and critical issues shaping the future of trauma‑informed work. \n\nFrom harm to hope invites us to recognise that healing is not an individual journey\, but a collective responsibility. This theme centres the power of communities\, cultures\, and relationships in transforming the impacts of childhood trauma. It highlights the importance of shared wisdom in creating environments characterised by hope\, where children\, adults\, and families can recover\, reconnect\, and thrive. The conference will: \n\n\n\nExplore how collective action\, relational repair\, and culturally grounded practices can shift systems from managing harm to cultivating hope \nHighlight new ideas and approaches that expand what healing can look like\nElevate the expertise of those with lived and living experience and First Nations voices\nCentre the power of connection\, belonging\, and shared responsibility in healing\n\nFind out more and register
