DESCRIPTION:Queensland’s Reportable Conduct Scheme (RCS) comes into effect soon. Join QCOSS and the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) for an information session which will outline key obligations under the scheme and how to prepare ahead of its implementation on 1 July 2026. \nEstablished under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 (Qld)\, Queensland’s Reportable Conduct Scheme (RCS) strengthens accountability and child‑safe responses to allegations of abuse and misconduct in organisations that work with children. Independent oversight is provided by the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC). \nQCOSS and the QFCC invite you to an information session on the RCS\, ahead of its implementation by 1 July 2026. The session will outline key obligations under the Scheme and support organisations to understand their responsibilities. DESCRIPTION:In partnership with leading experts and academics in the field\, Project Paradigm’s free webinar series enables the sharing of current research\, frontline experience\, and practical strategies to prevent\, identify\, and respond to child sexual exploitation. \nIn recent years online misogyny has become increasingly prevalent\, with members of the so-called ‘Manosphere’ – a collection of anti-feminist and misogynistic blogs\, social media channels and more – perpetrating digital harassment campaigns targeted primarily at women. This webinar will explore the complex and increasingly urgent connections between this online misogyny and real-world violence against women and children. It will examine the linkages between these patterns of violence\, and specifically how digital platforms can both reflect and amplify gender-based violence\, enabling the spread of harassment\, doxxing\, and hate speech that often also spreads to offline violence. DESCRIPTION:People with disability of all ages continue to experience violence\, neglect\, abuse\, and exploitation. This was highlighted in 2025 with the release of the Disability Royal Commission and remains a significant issue across Queensland. \nDomestic\, family\, and sexual violence (DFSV) disproportionately impacts people with disability.
