Harmony Week 2023
A week long celebration of Australia’s strength in diversity
Australian Government presents Harmony Week 2023 – Everyone belongs
Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
Australia is one of the world’s most successful multicultural countries and our cultural diversity is at the heart of who we are.
Harmony Week is held Monday, 20th to Sunday, 26th March 2023, with Harmony Day held in Queensland on Tuesday, 21st March.
To participate, you can wear orange to show your support, or you can attend and/or host a Harmony Week event.
Find out more, attend an event or host your own!
As part of Harmony Week, A Taste of Harmony aims to support the sharing of cultural knowledge through recipes. Find out more and access recipes for sharing at your workplace or with family, as well as fun games and quizzes to make shared meals even more fun.
And don’t forget to nominate for Queensland Multicultural Awards 2023 to recognise the valuable contributions of Queenslanders who support and promote a united, harmonious and inclusive Queensland community.
