PeakCare is pleased to offer a third ethical decision making workshop presented by Prof Donna McAuliffe, School of Human Services and Social Work, Griffith University on Friday, 12 May 2017 at Kedron Football Club, Brisbane.
Have you ever struggled to manage boundary conflicts or been unsure of the limits of confidentiality or the extent of duty of care? Ethical decision making is a core skill required for professional practice, and a good understanding of how to resolve ethical dilemmas is critical to work in complex environments. This one-day workshop will lead participants through a model and process of ethical decision making, using case examples to explore issues of accountability, critical reflection, cultural sensitivity, and consultation. The workshop will draw on ethical dilemmas such as managing boundary conflicts, dealing with competence in practice, issues of duty of care and duty to warn, and ethical literacy and e-professionalism. Refreshments and lunch provided. Register now to secure your place!
Places are limited and registrations close on Monday, 1 May. View the flyer for more details and download the registration form or contact Tracey Smith on 07 3368 1050 for enquiries.
