Domestic and family violence training resources

The Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services has released three training resources for researchers and practitioners on domestic and family violence topics. Module 1 – Defining Domestic and Family Violence is intended to help practitioners define and identify what can constitute violence in the family. Module 2 – The Impact of Domestic and Family Violence on Children outlines what is known in the research about impacts of trauma on children and their development. Module 3 – Engagement where Domestic and Family Violence is Present explores how best to interact with each party involved in a family violence situation.
