Disability Royal Commission now taking public submissions

The Disability Royal Commission wants to hear from all Australians about their experiences of violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation of people with disability.Find out more or access the submission form. Several sessions at the National Disability Service’s (NDS) upcoming Essential Briefing on Friday, 9th August relate to the Royal Commission, including Acting CEO David Moody’s presentation on how NDS will support members, and sessions by legal and insurer firms on lessons from other recent Royal Commissions and how to prepare. Registrations for Brisbane’s Essential Briefing close at 5pm Tuesday, 6th AugustFind out more and register. NDS’s Royal Commission hub has also launched, designed to host a growing suite of information, updates and resources related to the Royal Commission. The hub has been created for NDS Members to access resources, seek expert advice, and support their organisations to prepare for the Royal Commission.
