Applications for the 2019 Disability Community Event grants are now open. The grants provide up to $5,000 towards events or activities held during Disability Action Week, 15th to 22nd September, or on the International Day of People with Disability on 3rd December. Applications must demonstrate how the event or activity will foster greater opportunities for people with disability to participate in the economic and social aspects of the community, or must be a celebration of the achievements and aspirations of people with disability in their community.
