Department releases Strategic Plan

The Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women has now released its Strategic Plan 2018-2022. The strategies range across six key objectives: ensuring children are safe, thriving and connected in families and communities; reducing youth offending; safety from domestic, family and sexual violence; more opportunities for young Queenslanders; promoting the rights, interests and wellbeing of Queensland women and girls; and improving service delivery. Director-General, Michael Hogan, also notes that “at the core of everything we do will be a strong commitment to building our cultural capability and ensuring First Nations Peoples’ cultural identity, diversity and richness are central to all our decisions.”
