The first Child Protection Practitioners Association of Queensland (CPPAQ) Practice Paper will be held Wednesday, 2nd May on: Interviewing children and young people – Lessons from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse (Royal Commission). The Practice Paper will examine the lessons learned by the Royal Commission in order to shape systems, policy and practice approaches into the future. The session Chair will be Ann Gummow, until recently the Managing Lawyer for the Brisbane division of Knowmore, an independent service giving free legal advice to assist survivors of institutional child sexual abuse.
