National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day will be held on Sunday, 4th August. SNAICC is now taking pre-orders for Children’s Day bags, containing a weaving bracelet, four fun tattoos, an activity sheet, crayons, Children’s Day bandana and a beautiful book Molly the Pig (Moli det Bigibigi) written in Kriol and English. Bags only cost $6 each including free postage, with minimum orders of three bags. Children’s Day has been celebrated for over three decades and is a special time for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to celebrate children, and for all Australians to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
