Calling all residential care providers…

…who want to reduce the criminalisation of young people living in your residential care houses. We advised you last week that the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women has funded a short term project position to bring the Joint Agency Protocol for Reducing Preventable Police Callouts to life in a way that improves outcomes for young people. Will Kerkhof is currently engaged in consultations with individuals and in group forums with dates set for Brisbane, Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Cairns and Rockhampton. If you would like to be part of this exciting work please contact Will on wkerkhof@peakcare.org.au or 0404 863 075.
