Do you (or someone you know) hold high-level expertise in relation to financial management and planning; human resource management or workforce planning and development; marketing and communications; or stewardship and governance of a human service organisation?

If you have answered ‘Yes’ to any of the above, PeakCare invites you (or the someone you know) to consider accepting a nomination to stand for election to PeakCare’s Board.

This year, FIVE Board member positions are to be filled by election at our Annual General Meeting to be held in early 2021. Given the diverse range of organisations that comprise PeakCare’s membership, the Board is keen to ensure that the candidates standing for election are able to represent a wide cross-section of interests and concerns held by our Members – large and small, state-wide and local, from across all parts of the State. The Board is also keen to ensure that it has the right mix of knowledge, skills and experience from which it can draw. Nomination of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander candidates is strongly encouraged.

Have YOU got what it takes to perform the important role of a Board member in ensuring the sound governance of PeakCare? If this is a role that isn’t right for you, but you know of others who might fit the bill, please forward this information on and encourage them to accept a nomination for election to the Board. Nominations are sought by COB Friday, 12th February 2021. For more information about who is eligible to be nominated for election to the Board and the process for lodging nominations, click here.
