Applications will be closing soon for multicultural events and celebrations to be held in 2018 under the Celebrating Multicultural Queensland grants program for initiatives promoting Queensland’s multicultural identity, increasing awareness of the benefits of multiculturalism, and supporting equal access to opportunities by people from diverse cultural backgrounds. One-off funding of up to $20,000 under the Signature Events category, and one-off funding of up to $10,000 under the Cultural Events category will be available for events to be delivered across Queensland. The funding round will close on Tuesday, 29th August, with the separate round for Multicultural Projects to open later in the year. Find out more about eligibility and how to apply here.
