The Australian Law Reform Commission (ALRC) has released an Issues Paper for its Review of the Family Law System. This review is intended to ensure the family law system meets the contemporary needs of families and effectively addresses family violence and child abuse, and will include, among other terms, a comprehensive review of the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth). Submissions are open until 13th November.
