Abstract submissions for AIFS 2020 Conference closing soon

The Australian Institute of Family Studies (AIFS) 2020 Conference – What is a good life for families? And how do we get there? – will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 9th to 12th June 2020. The Conference Committee is accepting presentations, roundtable sessions or symposia on a diverse range of issues affecting family wellbeing, under six themes: family policy and service system challenges; balancing work and family; health and wellbeing over the life course; communities and social cohesion; family threats, vulnerabilities and trauma; and family law challenges and solutions. Abstract submissions can be made online beforet the closing date just one week away on Monday, 21st October. The Conference program will feature local and international renowned experts from a range of fields related to family wellbeing. Plenary speakers already confirmed include: Professor Stephen Zubrick, Head, Brain and Behaviour, Telethon Kids Institute; Annabel Crabb, ABC’s Chief Political Writer; Jess Hill, Author and Journalist; Richard Glover, Author and Radio presenter. Find out more.
