AASW/PeakCare Child Protection Practice Forum now being held on Monday, 3rd June

May is Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month, so come along to the AASW/PeakCare Child Protection Practice Group Forum and hear from presenter Jatinder Kaur and women with a lived experience of intimate partner violence across diverse cultures about: vulnerabilities and risk factors faced by migrant and refugee women; holistic bio-psycho-social assessments of migrant and refugee victims of intimate partner violence; cultural, linguistic and religious factors, barriers and challenges associated with intimate partner violence; and physical, mental and sexual-reproductive trauma and treatment options specific to migrant and refugee women who are victims of intimate partner violence.
