2019 National Child Protection Week

National Child Protection Week (CPW) is almost here, with the 2019 posters now released. Shirleen Nambajinpa Campbell from Tangentyere Women’s Safety Group, Hoppys Camp has once again created a beautiful artwork to celebrate one of the key messages of the 2019 campaign that: ‘Kids do well when parents are supported’. The second poster was drawn by 14 year old Anamika from Queensland, promoting the message that: ‘To raise thriving kids, parents need support to navigate life’s choppy waters’. Read more about this year’s themes and find out more about how to get involved in supporting the messages of CPW, including four easy ways to show support for the campaign at your school or workplace. Register an event in support of CPW or see what’s taking place near you, or attend an official event, including the Q&A Forum Putting Children First in Brisbane on 5th September.
