2017 Queensland Greats announced

The 2017 Queensland Greats were announced on Queensland Day last week, Tuesday 6th June, by Premier Palaszczuk. This year’s individual recipients included pioneering neuroscientist, Professor Perry Bartlett FAA; philanthropist Clive Berghofer AM, university leader and advocate Professor Peter Coaldrake AO, investigative journalist Phil Dickie, Indigenous health and education advocate Professor Cindy Shannon FQA, and the late Eddie Mabo received the posthumous award for his enormous contribution to Indigenous equality. Read more about the Queensland Greats and their contribution to Queensland.
