Ethical decision making: More than just gut instinct
10:00 to 15:00
12-05-17

Presented by PeakCare Queensland

PeakCare is pleased to offer a third ethical decision making workshop presented by Prof Donna McAuliffe, School of Human Services and Social Work, Griffith University. Ethical decision making is a core skill required for professional practice, and a good understanding of how to resolve ethical dilemmas is critical to work in complex environments.

This workshop will lead participants through a model and process of ethical decision making, using case examples to explore issues of accountability, critical reflection, cultural sensitivity, and consultation. The workshop will draw on ethical dilemmas such as managing boundary conflicts, dealing with competence in practice, issues of duty of care and duty to warn, and ethical literacy and e-professionalism.

Where: Kedron Football Club, 100 Sixth Avenue, Kedron 4031
